Job Opportunities in College of Engineering, Alfaisal University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. 

The newly established College of Engineering at AlfaisalUniversity is seeking to fill a position in
Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, Architectural and Software Engineering at anyacademic
level to start in September 2012. The successful  candidate is expected  to make a significant
contribution to the College’s educational and research activities and to build a strong, externally
funded research program. The candidate should also have a marked interest in, and demonstrated
talent for, teaching in both the undergraduate and graduate programs.

Applications should be received by February 29, 2012 to receive full consideration; however, the
positions will remain open until filled or the search is closed. Both genders are welcome to
apply. Currently, male and female students are enrolled in College of Engineering. The first
batch of students will be graduated by June, 2012.

Positions are open at all levels. All candidates should submit a CV with a cover letter. The letter
should discuss teaching interest andresearch plans. Expectations for the various levels of
appointment, and instructions for additional materials to be submitted are:

• Instructor: Candidates should  hold a M.Sc. and demonstrated potential for teaching.
Candidates should arrange for at least three letters of reference to be submitted to the address

• Assistant Professor: Candidates should hold a Ph.D. and demonstrate potential for
outstanding research and teaching. Candidates should arrange for  at least three letters of
reference to be submitted to the address below.
• Associate Professor: Candidates should have an outstanding record of research
accomplishment and scholarly achievement, with concomitant strong evidence of emerging
leadership in their field. Candidates should provide the names of three references whom the
Search Committee may contact directly.
• Professor: Candidates should have an outstanding record of research accomplishment and
scholarly achievement, with concomitant strong evidence of realized leadership in their field.
Candidates should provide the names of three references whom the Search Committee may
contact directly.
Alfaisal University offers a very attractive salary and employment package. The package
