Qatar : Required the following

POSITION: TEAM LEADER - TREASURY
>REPORTS TO: FINANCE MANAGER
>DEPARTMENT: FINANCE
>INDUSTRY: AIRLINE/AVIATION
>LOCATION: DUBAI, UAE
>
>PURPOSE:
>Reporting to the Finance Manager, the position will be primarily
>responsible for managing the day to day responsibilities of the
>Treasury function i.e. bank facilities and transfer of funds, managing
>exchange risk, tax compliance, cash flows and aircraft financing
>activities.
>
>EXPERIENCE:
>Minimum of 5 years experience in an airline Treasury role.
>
>ACCOUNTABILITIES:
>
>Prepare rolling cash flow forecasts, report on a weekly basis and
>monitor variances between actuals and projections;
>Support the Finance Manager in managing the currency risk and
>optimizing the impact on fund transfers;
>Ensure transfer of funds to HO and optimize return on investment of funds;
>Evaluate and implement an appropriate exchange rate protection strategy;
>Ensure compliance with the relevant tax requirements for the airline
>company for the various areas of sale;
>Provide reporting to Senior Management on VAT, GST, Sales, Consumption
>and Service taxes across the network;
>Support the Finance Manager in evaluating alternative aircraft
>financing options and manage the aircraft and financing payments.
>Ensure accounting for Treasury Operations in compliance with the
>accounting standards and meet audit requirements
>

>POSITION: TEAM LEADER - OUTSTATIONS
>REPORTS TO: FINANCE MANAGER
>DEPARTMENT: FINANCE
>INDUSTRY: AIRLINE/AVIATION
>LOCATION: DUBAI, UAE
>
>PURPOSE:
>Reporting to the Finance Manager, the position will be primarily
>responsible for-
>Accurate and timely processing of payments at stations to ensure
>compliance with local regulatory tax requirements.
>Monitor and reconcile repatriation of funds from stations to head
>office bank accounts.
>
>EXPERIENCE:
>Minimum of 5 years experience in airline industry, added advantage for
>low cost carrier experience.
>Expertise in processing payments and handling tax regulations.
>
>ACCOUNTABILITIES:
>Implement the station relationships with service providers, finance
>processes and procedures at stations to ensure compliance with
>regulatory tax and accounting requirements
>Provide sales, revenue and expenses information to the appointed CPA
>to file tax returns and prepare and file financial statements for
>regulatory approval
>Monitor and reconcile repatriation of funds from stations to the HO
>bank accounts
>Ensure payment of taxes is made in compliance with the regulatory requirements
>Ensure approval of expenses (including DOCs) as per the Authorities manual.
