3. Age not to exceed 58 years
4. Experience in guiding students preparing projects.
5. Degrees should be obtained via full-time or part time studies and not by distant learning.
6 . Experience in conducting practical classes for these specializations is also essential.
7 . Industrial experience is an added advantage. Please note:
8 . Date and year of completion for all degrees should be clearly mentioned in the CV.
9. Experience dates (period) to be clearly mentioned in the CV.


The Role: 1. Ensuring students reach their full potential through the use of innovative teaching methods.
2. Researching on the related teaching material and evolving the required pedagogy 
3. Supervision and counseling of students on theoretical and practical activities.
4. Timely and comprehensive preparation of examination question papers and quizzes; conducting examinations, carrying out assessment and reviewing results in compliance with the college rules and regulations and instructions. 
5. Systematic record-keeping of students' results, activities and attendance. 
6. Proactive and focused academic counseling and career advice to students.
7. Supervising on-the-job training of students, providing assistance to supervisors of the industrial sector in charge of the college students during their training and presenting reports on the students' progress to the concerned heads.
8. Presenting a report for every semester's activities and suggesting development to the concerned heads. 
9. Carrying out any others tasks assigned by the concerned heads of center, department or section.

Salary (Tax Free) :
A total package of Rial Omani 900 – 1200 (Based on Qualification & Experience)

Treasury and Cash Management Specialist


Job Purpose:

Handling all the funding requirements for the whole of Qatar Foundation under the direction of the Treasury and Receivables Manager, this involves cash forecasting and monitoring cash balances to ensure that QF is adequately funded at all times.

Development of automated reporting of cash forecasting and management surplus funds according to TOFA requirements. Be responsible for the accuracy of Data inputs in Cash Management Module in the ERP system.

Ensure potential risk to QF is reduced by adherence to approved cash policies and procedures
Key Result Areas:
  • Responsible for the cash forecasting function across QF. 
  • Monitor the cash balances to ensure that QF is adequately funded at all times to cover payroll payments of capital and operating expenditures and other commitments
  • Supervise and Control the Funds received from ministry of Finance
  • Control surplus funds to maximize income.
  • Perform the Bank reconciliations on a daily basis.
  • Review the accuracy of Data inputs in Cash Management Module in the ERP system.
  • Ensure the implementation of new banking services and products as needed in the best interest of Qatar Foundation.
  • Monitor the portfolio of investments and recommend best business opportunities for the benefit of Qatar Foundation in accordance with TOFA.
  • Evaluate the Banks performance on an ongoing basis and recommend necessary actions for improvement.
  • Close Liaison with the Bank for ensure smooth day to day operation.
  • Close liaison with Directorate Departments for Cash Forecast and accurate Treasury and cash Management data 
  • Ensure the compliance of Policy and Procedure of QF and report to Treasury and Receivable Manage on any variation
  • Assist treasury and Receivables Manager on Development automated reporting.
  • Assist in fulfilling the audit requirement and ensure the implementation of agreed audit recommendations
  • Assist Treasure and Receivables Manager in contributing to the MIR reporting function to management in relation to Treasury activities in an accurate manner

Lab Technician Required at Shell Malaysia

Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn. Bhd. (6087-M) has been operating for more than a century in Malaysia and is looking forward to more exciting and challenging years ahead. We refine, supply, trade and ship crude oil and petroleum products, as well as market and sell transportation fuels, lubricants, speciality products and technical services.


Responsibilities: 
* Perform the following duties:
- Sampling and laboratory testing of lubricants raw materials and lubricants and fuels finished products
- Adjust Bills of Material as required by changes in base oil physical and chemical properties.
- Interpretation of test data to determine if products meet specification, and certifying products for sale to end customers.
* Participate in the quarterly Lubricants Laboratory Correlation Scheme (LLCS).
* Work with the Laboratory Supervisor to optimize Product Treat Costs.
* To carry out the full inspection and testing of base oils and bulk additives arrival by ocean tankers before and after discharging.
* To carry out the full inspection and testing to verify additives purchased in drums/pails meet Shell specifications and is fit for use in blending.
* To carry out inspection and testing on all blends produced ensuring pruducts are on-specification before filling.
* To carry out inspection and testing on filled products to ensure there is no contamination during filling operations and products released are on-specification.
* To liaise with Production Supervisors,Blending & Filling Operators on any quality deviations observed and the necessary actions to be taken.
* Strict execution and compliance of all the requirements of certified quality standards i.e. ISO 9001 in order to sustain continuous certification by SIRIM.
* To calculate corrective measures to bring off-specification blends to specification. Also investigate and identifies causes of off-spec blends and fills.
* To conduct trial blends to optimize and establish new formulations for grades with change of additives version and as and when required.
* Maintain good housekeeping and ensure that all safety regulations in the Lab are strictly followed.
* To observe and in compliance with Shell’s HSSE regulations,ensure and practice good housekeeping and safe operations.
* To carry out proper disposal of all laboratory generated chemical wastes and retained samples.
* Implement the HSSE Plans,Policies,Standards and Procedures according to the HSSE-MS.
* Ensure risks of HSSE related activities are reduced to ALARP.


Requirements: 
* Candidate must be graduate in Chemistry or equivalent
* Must be competent to handle a variety of laboratory equipment
* Knowledge of various tests and test methods as prescribed under international standards such as ASTM etc.
- Knowledge of statistical applications as applicable to laboratory function
- Experience in ISO 9001/QS9000 or equivalent Quality systems would be an advantage

Purpose:
Plan and manage Customer Contact Centre  operations & activity to ensure that a professional  level of service is being offered to customers, in line with the company brand requirements and business objectives are  being achieved in support of company strategies.
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Overall management of the day to day operations of the Contact Centre, whether that be telephone contact, internet contact, fax or web cast based face to face, to ensure the unit meets both company and customer expectations. 
  • Drive the development and implementation of best practices in Contact Centre operations and ensures KPI’s are set which reflect the expected standards of operation are defined and achieved. 
  • Oversee the inbound, outbound and support areas ensuring are operated to the standards as defined by the operational KPI’s by ensuring there are in place policies, procedures and operational manuals and infrastructure to guide the Section Heads in implementing and meeting those standards.
  • Develops the strategy for the Contact Centre both short and long term, and aligns that strategy to the overall organisation customer strategy, and inputs into the overall strategy for Customer Service. 
  • Develop and create customer access channels ensuring that Q-Tel is at the leading edge of service delivery by utilising effective technology based infrastructure. 
  • Drive the development of a resources plan for optimal performance for now and future requirements and ensure there is a supporting Recruitment plan in place.
  • Ensure there is in place an effective training methodology for all Contact Centre Staff in order to keep them updated in relation to all Qtel products and services and problem resolution.
  • In conjunction with HR develop and implement a career planning methodology for optimal utilisation of staff and for ensuring the organisation can attract and retain contact centre people. 
  • Establishes sound and effective relationships with other departments, and develops with that department SLA’s to ensure efficient resolution of all customer requests or complaints.
  • Reviews reports on customer behaviour as provided by and in conjunction with marketing analyses in order to identify improvements to service quality via contact centre, and input into the production and development and implementation of products and services.  
  • Implement and take action to achieve target productivity, quality indicators, and measure overall performance against  set objectives
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of all Customer Contact Centre operational technologies in order to identify and recommend new and improved methods of contract centre operations in line with the organisations strategy. 
  • Drives the development and production of the Directories and Yellow Pages via the unit,  responsible for the collation of materials, production of both hard and soft copy directories and the integrity of customer data to ensure the directories are printed and distributed in a timely manner, and that customer information is accurately captured and disseminated via various databases. 
  • Ensures there is in place a business plan to grow the directories section to include international directory links enabling Q-Tel customers to obtain information related to International numbers.
  • Manages, motivates, develops and appraises staff to ensure the highest level of operation at all times.
  • Holds regular division meetings to ensure information is shared with staff on a regular basis and feedback is obtained from them in order to improve the overall service quality for Q-Tel. 
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports/feedback to management as related to Contact Centre Operations.
  • Ensure the unit budget is planned, monitored and controlled effectively and no unapproved spending is undertaken.
  • Monitors and Reviews all call quality and operational reports on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to identify any issues which need resolution and drive through any necessary changes to rectify those issues identified

The unit is one of the main points of contact with Qtel Customers and as such has a significant impact on customer perception and customer satisfaction.

Costs & Profitability
Direct impact on profitability as if a customer cannot utilise a product or service effectively Qtel will lose revenue as a direct result.
Indirect impact on costs from operations  – however manages own unit budget

Problem Solving
Problems typically centre around contact centre operations or resolution of customer problems and/or complaints and are resolved independently.  More complex or wider reaching problems would be resolved in consultation with senior managers across the business unit.

Planning & Organizing
Plans working schedules to ensure the contact centre is effective 24/7.
Plans and manages own work and delegates to others to ensure work is completed on time and to the appropriate standards
Experience:
  • A minimum 12  years experience in Customer Care preferably within telecom sector, of which at least 6 should be in a  Call Centre environment and in a  management position
  • Knowledge of Contact Centre Management processes and operations
  • Sound knowledge of customer management and customer satisfaction
  • Understanding of CRM infrastructure
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Communication, Business Management, or Marketing. 
  • Preferably an additional training in Call Centre Management and Customer Relationship Management
