The British Council is looking for a talented young Communications entrepreneur to represent Kuwait in an international competition in the UK. If you are passionate about your industry, this is your opportunity to step onto the international stage. The International Young Communications Entrepreneur of the Year (IYCE) award has been established by the British Council to champion and celebrate the importance of creative entrepreneurs working in the field of communications For the purposes of this award participants can be drawn from any of the following sectors: * Advertising and branding agencies * PR agencies * Photography agencies Graphic design agencies Print media to include newspapers and magazines Broadcast media. to include radio, television and internet Direct marketing agencies Consultants or trade associations providing specialist services in this area Who can apply? A participant must: * Be aged between 25 and 35 * Already work in the relevant sector (as defined above) * Be entrepreneurial and have shown their ability in the promotion of communications in Kuwait, In either a commercial context, public context, or both * Through their character, drive an abilities demonstrate their potential to be a future leader of the sector in Kuwait * Have English language skills to IELTS 6 or above (competent user or above) The successful winner from Kuwait will take part in a 2-week industry tou in the UK in March or April 2009, How can I apply?
